| The leveling sand was spread out enough to lay the beams on, as well as the patio bricks that will be placed beside the lumber. | ||

| Plastic landscaping track secured with metal spikes was used to hold the lumber in place. You can use spikes that go directly through the beams - I was given the materials so I opted to do it this way. | ||
