Trip # 4 - Pine Acres Campground - Oakham, MA September 1-4, 2006

We spent Labor Day weekend 2006 at Pine Acres Campground in Oakham, MA.  It was not our best trip to date... Several reasons: 1. It rained a lot.  2. It was unseasonably cool out 65F-72F.   3.  Our campsite was smaller than my driveway!  4. We caught ZERO fish. 

The campground itself is ok.  Not among the better ones as far as facilities, or activities, but not horrible in any capacity either; with exception of the pitiful site we had.  Not all the sites looked as bad as ours.  Honestly, our site looked like a parking spot, not a campsite.  I could barely fit the pop up and my car... no way we could use the screen room, which would have been nice considering the rain. 

The one half decent ting about our site is you could see the lake behind us.
